Color
The term "color" can be misleading because the ideal engagement diamond is
characterized by a lack of color - less is more. The ideal diamond is clear to
the point of being colorless or near colorless.
Color tinting in most diamonds is found diamonds is found by minute impurities
within the stone. The untrained eye is incapable of making the accurate color
evaluations that can affect the value of the stone.
At D. Diamante, the color of each diamond is determined by measuring it against
authenticated color master diamonds. Each diamond is then color graded on a
precise scale ranging from "D" (colorless) to "Z" (saturated).
D. Diamante sells diamonds with color ratings of "I" or better. |
